The water in this lake has been accumulated from the melting snow on the mountains located nearby. The river Lungtze Chu originates from this lake, which meets Rangpo-chu down its course. According to history, the colour of water of this lake was studied by Lamas so as to forecast about the future. They believed, if the water had a dark tinge, it indicated a year full of trouble and unrest in the state.

DAY 1: NJP/BAGDOGRA TO GANGTOK
Our representative will Meet and Greet on arrival at NJP Railway Station/Bagdogra and transfer to Gangtok (5,480 ft.) 124 km (77 mi). The drive will take you through a bank of river Tista with a beautiful view of mountains and river. On arrival Check-in to hotel and rest. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

DAY 2: TSOMGO LAKE & BABA MANDIR (Optional Nathula Pass)
After Breakfast will have a Full day Excursion OF Tsomgo Lake. The water in this lake has been accumulated from the melting snow on the mountains located nearby. This “mandir” or shrine is dedicated to “Baba” Harbhajan Singh, who was a soldier of the Indian Army.

DAY 3: GANGTOK SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast will have a sightseeing of Gangtok which includes Tashi viewpoint, Hanuman Tok, Ganesh Tok, Bakhtang Waterfall, Enchey Monastery, Flower exhibition centre, handicraft centre(closed on Sunday), Chorten Stupa, Institute of Tibetology, Ropeway Overnight at Gangtok.

DAY 4: GANGTOK TO DARJEELING
After having breakfast move towards Darjeeling which is a beautiful hill town set in West Bengal which is known for its tea plantations. The place makes one experience the most breath-taking views of the Himalayas. on the way visit to Triveni viewpoint. After reaching Darjeeling, check-in to the hotel and after fresh up can have a Toy Train ride (BY OWN) free to roam Darjeeling market in the evening.

DAY 5: TIGER HILL & DARJEELING SIGHTSEEING
After having breakfast we will move towards tiger hill. It is famous for its panoramic view of Mount Everest and MT Kanchenjunga together and early morning sunrise. On the way back to hotel visit the famous Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast will have sightseeing which includes, Japanese temple, Peace pagoda,  Ava art gallery, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Ropeway, Tenzing Gumpo Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre (Closed on Sunday).

DAY 6: DROP TO BAGDOGRA
Back to NJP /Bagdogra via Kurseong. After having breakfast will move towards NJP via Kurseong.
Our representative will drop you to NJP or Bagdogra Airport.
